Description:
The Pyramid Model training examines why professional development in social
emotional competence is important for children, families, and
teachers/caregivers. This training identifies how caregivers can implement the
content and strategies of this high-quality professional development related to
promoting social emotional competence.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify why relationships are key to achieving developmental milestone
• Recognize how this framework relates to all early care and education settings
• Explore the need for increasing positive outcomes related to social
& emotional development
• Apply training content to program practice
Dates: Times:
Parts 1 & 2 April 7, 2025 8:30am-3pm
Parts 3 & 4 April 28, 2025 8:30am-3pm
Parts 5 & 6 May 19, 2025 8:30am-3pm
Parts 7 & 8 June 9, 2025 8:30am-3pm
The course is 24 hours in length. To receive credit for this
course, participation is required at all sessions. Please bring
your own lunch. It is not included in the cost of the class. The
lunchtime is from 11:30am-12pm each session. Light snacks will
be available during each day.
